NPC

What’s your business here? Don’t you know this place is cursed? We aren’t used to travelers like you… (narrows eyes)

HERO

Option 1: What I am doing here is none of your goddamn business, merchant! Now, don’t stand in my way and show me the way to Nazulreg! (hostile)

Option 2: I am on a hunt. I seek a man, perhaps you have come across him. His trail leads to Nazulreg. Do you know how can I get there? (hospitable)

NPC

Option 1: Aaah, I see we have a stubborn one here! (bursts out laughing)
Well all I can tell you mysterious lord, is that you won’t last till’ morning on the way to Nazulreg! (expression shifts to anger) Not without any help!

Option 2: A hunt, eh? (chews lips, spits on floor) You are not the first one ye know that? None have returned so far, though I doubt any made it to the city. (laughs) If it can be called a ‘city’.

HERO

Option 1: Listen, old man! (grunts) I need to take my leave and I am going with or without your help! For the sake of the Grim Hound! Speak!

Option 2: Have you heard anything about the Grim Hound? If yes, how many have been sent out and failed so far?

NPC

Option 1: P… Please! I did not know you are one of them! Please don’t hurt me and my family, we are but poor merchants! (crunches on ground)
Seek the Stone Of Dust! It… It will lead you to him! (flees in terror)

Option 2: The… the G… Grim Hound? (stutters) I… I cannot… Please! Please don’t hurt me! I’ll tell you all I know! To find the way to Nazulreg you must seek the Stone Of Dust! It will lead you to him! (flees in terror) Please don’t hurt us!
