Creatures Of The Water

Even though the waves passed with considerable intensity, they gently brushed against the dazzling rocks. This location in the middle of the sea had not yet been discovered by humans.
That’s why they favored it greatly. During Moonrise, many of them would venture out, and amidst a shy entrance, they’d sit on the glittery rocks bathing in the pale light.
Starry shells were left on the rocky coasts by the water after the tides receded. They served as pearly diamond protectors with glazig blue coatings.
The sirens have been able to gather these shells and use the gems within thanks to the low tide.
Once acquired, the pearly gems would blend into their flowing material that resembled hair and traveled with the waterways, adorning the crevices like stars in the night sky. No one has ever been able to keep a siren in their line of sight. Their true appearance has never been understood by any living man. Many dismiss them as mere visions since the sea, which is enigmatic, may project lies and delusions for the desperate. A fisherman who survived a shipwreck in the vicinity claimed that he was saved by soft hands that were, as he put it, composed of water.
In his memories, the water seemed to come to life and take the form of ethereal beings that shimmered with bliding light.
His vision was captured by lagoon blue diamonds shining among the waves, and sweet hands caressing his face.
The aged man knew that since such tenderness and warmth cannot exist on this world, he must have died there. He reasoned that his dying mind must have conjured these creatures of the flowing waters.
Little did he know, that during Moonrise, as he spoke of tale of the water-folks in dismay, the midst of the sea comes to life, luring all that is divine and mystical embedded into sparks of joy and hope.
