Once there lived a creature, appearance of a human with one head and three faces.
It had a visage of balance on the front, a mask of rage on the left side and a skin of joyfulness on its right.
The God marched forward with steps echoing all around the world, rattling the highest mountains and shivering the vasts of oceans.
Across his trail he left footsteps of shining dust which then was collected by creatures crawling around.
Once the God made a halt along his never ending ride for he had encountered a man.
Rugged and tortured by poverty the human stood in front of him and gazed with awe upon the shine of the God.
‘What shall you want’ Addressed the high being the question to its subordinate with thundering voice.
‘I’d like to know what kind of dust do you leave behind. Our kind collects it and lives in prosperity by selling it but have gone to a path of madness and fury afterwards.’ Answered the old man with trembling but not breaking voice.
The God have turned his head around and bursted out laughing.
‘What I am leaving behind is a simple substance. It is called — greed. It is rich, glistening and superior, and will push men into its doom sooner or later. I let them consume it, for mankind is blind and sees only what is skin-deep.’
Said the God while his head and three face were spinning on the top of his neck.
‘Yet oh, wise lord, you have not known that you will be stopped by a beggar and be subjected of questions.’ Shouted the old man raising his voice by each word.
‘Look at me carefully, human.’ Replied the God, while its head stopped circling and settled on his face of indifference.
‘This is your first face.’ The God pointed on his forehead. ‘You are by default viewless and carry no insignificant siding within yourself. This is how you exist in your purest form.’
A tremendous sound was followed by a move, as the head whirled around once more only to stop at the joyful visage.
‘Now this’ It laughed ‘Is a face of your pursuit. You seek happiness at all and every cost and while doing so, you slowly turn blind and consider the face of dread as an abnormality.’
With the last word the head flipped and a moment later a grimface of raged madness splattered upon the frightened old man.
‘You see old man? I am — you. And you — are me. I carry all of your sides within myself, while you feast on your corruption. We exist as one.’
The rugged man awoke from his dismay and found himself speaking words to the God standing above him.
‘Yet, oh great lord, you have listened to me just as I was listening to you. We have both taken a stop from our journey to greet and learn from each other. From now one, we both will pass on richer than before we met.We have simply given our time to each other and thus we became more and have not destructed, but constructed all that is within us.’
After the rugged man have spoken the God turned away and wailed, for another face formed to appear at the back of his head.
The new skin reflected the face of kindness for it was smiling tenderly and spoke helping words wherever it was needed.
When the God was questioned about its fourth face, he simply replied, ‘This is the true face of mankind.’
